Objective


The course ‘Certified Business Continuity Manager’ offers you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the field of study 'BCM' as competence. Regardless of starting point, be it facility or security management, IT, controlling or otherwise, being a certified Business Continuity Manager you will be able to set out, work out and guarantee the continuity policy on a strategic and tactical level. As well as expert knowledge you will be taught the skills to practice the profession of Business Continuity Management successfully. You will obtain full understanding into the Business Continuity Management process. You will be able to position the process in your own organisation, determine the range, form the interaction and relevance with other processes and take up your position within the process. As a result of the completed course you will be capable to create lasting value within your organisation.

Certification


Preceding the course an individual intake will take place. Thus the current level of knowledge and experience of the participant is examined and also to what extent your present job is BCM-related. During the intake an advice is given as to which certification upon successful completion of the coarse is possible. Being a Certified Business Continuity Professional you belong to the select company of Business Continuity Professionals, having proved to meet the quality requirements of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) by knowledge and level of experience.

Target group


In order to attend the course ‘Certified Business Continuity Manager’ you hold a managers position and have relations to continuity issues. You work as a BCM Manager, Facility Manager, Risk Manager, IT Manager, Security Manager, Operations Manager or Controller. You have the ambition to broaden your scope as a Business Continuity Manager.

BCM Academy offers this course in the BCM Academy Insight Center, Bijenstraat 16-17 in Ghent (Sint-Denijs-Westrem). The Insight Center provides an inspiring and authentic surrounding based on the Academy Model.
