The manageable, secure and predictable environment gives way to an unpredictable and sinister world. The model “business as usual”, does not work anymore. Routines, habits and procedures are no longer useful. A crisis manager requires knowledge and skills in everyday practice where no experience can be obtained. The Crisis Management Course teaches the complete theoretical framework around a crisis and allows you to acquire the necessary skills to successfully manage a crisis. GoalThis course is a practical training to become a certified Crisis Manager. You get full insight into the background of crisis management: the benefits and necessity, the specifics of the different crisis stages and the crisis management process, the structure, procedures and resources needed for proper implementation and operation. The environment in which you operate as a crisis manager is exhaustively discussed from different perspectives: stakeholder management, psychological factors (human reactions to a crisis), cooperation with others, etc. There is also a lot attention to training the skills to manage a crisis. Only through firsthand experience of the crisis process it will become transparent to you what is to be expected of you as a crisis manager. This is way the course is very focused on practical experience. It is only through exercising that one can become a good crisis manager. ContentDuring the 5 days (modules) and in 8 different blocks, matter experts will present you the entire theoretical framework, which will be supported with case studies, practical assignments and multimedia presentations.
Targetted audienceYou are considered for participation in the course of lectures ‘Certified Crisis Manager’ if you are active in a management position with a relation to continuity and crisis management issues.
