BCM Academy supports organisations at introducing Business Continuity Management (BCM), Crisis Management (CM) and Disaster Recovery (DR). BCM Academy supplies the knowledge to make BCM, CM and/or DR possible in the organisation and the expert’s assessment necessary to successfully introduce these topics in the organisation. Furthermore BCM Academy provides in test and trainingprogrammes in order to examine the Business Continuit, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management system and an accredited programme to check the functioning of the BCM process. BCM Academy offers this in a knowledge providing, experience exchanging and coaching approach.

Free Online BCM Questionnaires
BCM Academy is launchng a series of online questionnaires in conjunction with Ascure. The project is designed to enable BCM Academy and Ascure to share its in-depth knowledge and expertise in risk management with Business Continuity Managers. The online questionnaires provide Business Continuity Managers with an outstanding tool for evaluating the current status of their organisation compared with a specific BCM standard.

Certified Crisis Manager
BCM Academy is proud to launch its new education programme "Certified Crisis Manager". This 5 day course (spread over 3 months) is a practical training to become a certified Crisis Manager.
You get full insight into the background of crisis management: the benefits and necessity, the specifics of the different crisis stages and the crisis management process, the structure, procedures and resources needed for proper implementation and operation.

BCM Academy and Ascure launch the BCMHelpdesk
BCM Academy and Ascure want to reach out a helping hand to the troubled BCM practitioner by launching their multi-lingual BCM Helpdesk Service (English, French and Dutch). Punctual requests will be free of charge and handled during normal office hours (GMT+1), based on the principle of first come, first served. The BCM Academy has been recognized by the Flemish Government as a an office education center, by being certified in the "KMO-portefeuille" program in the are of education. Using the www.kmo-portefeuille.be website you can request government funding for participating to a course organized by the BCM Academy Belgium. Our registration number that should be used is DV.O106536.
The BCM Academy achieves the QFOR Label
The BCM Academy has achieved the QFOR lable, based on a customer satisfaction survey performed by the organization Management Information, An international recognized certification organisation for education- and consultancy companies. Based on the audit performed by an auditor, the Certification Commission, has decided that the BCM Academy Belgium complies to the standard for the Qfor ClientScan.
Course 'Pandemic Planning'
Because of the current outbreak of the flu brings the H1N1-virus closer to home, the Flu Pandemic becomes an actual threat to the day-to-day operations of your organisation and the economical survival of your company. BCM Introduction Course - BCM Essentials
You can subscribe for the first coming BCM Introduction Course - BCM Essentials of the 14th & 15th of december 2009 (registration).
This introduction course is all about ‘getting acquainted’ with the Business Continuity Management process. You get a basic knowledge of the requirements of BCM, so you can map and position BCM within your own organisation. You get an introduction to the basic steps of the BCM process.
Participants to the Introduction Course ‘Business Continuity Management Essentials’ are employed as continuity manager, security specialist, ICT specialist or facility manager, involved and interested in the business continuity management principles.

Certified Business Continuity Manager
